Fury 14.1 Challenge Donation Congratulations to James Forget for winning the Fury Evolution Series Pool Cue!
While the drawing has taken place, if you would still like to donate to the Fury 14.1 Challenge, you may do so.
The Fury 14.1 Challenge returns to the Super Billiards Expo in 2012.
Fury is generously donating a Fury Evolution Series Pool Cue Model EV-3 to be given away to one lucky person who donates $20 to this event. The money raised helps to pay for the expenses to put the event on, and then contribute to the overall prize fund. The organizers of this event, Charles Eames and Steve Kurtz, take no profit and instead put all donations and entry fees right back into the pot to make bigger and better prizes once they cover the basic expenses of the tables and space to host the event. They are true fans of 14.1 and hope that this event can further increase awareness of this classic billiards game and draw more fans into the fold. Each donation of $20 will count as a separate entry for the grand prize drawing and entries will only be taken to match the value of the cue. Once that value is reached a winner will be selected at random. The grand prize can only be shipped for free within the continental US, however donations can be accepted from players all over the world. The drawing will take place on Monday, March 5, 2012.
This unique event offers professional players and amateurs, men and women of all ages, the opportunity to compete side by side for a variety of prizes. No other tournament in the world can give your average player a chance to play right next to US Open Champion and 14.1 legend, John "Mr. 400" Schmidt, or winner of multiple world championships, Darren Appleton. Also taking part are some of the best known names in billiards and billiards Hall of Fame members. You honestly never know who you might find on the table taking a shot to turn in the highest run.
This year, the Super Billiards Expo moves to the Oaks Convention Center just outside Philadelphia, PA. It offers more space, and the Fury 14.1 Challenge will take place alongside this years Artistic Pool and Carom tournaments on the main tournament floor. The event will run into the wee hours of each morning for the first three days, at which time the 8 finalists from the pro division will begin a single elimination 14.1 tournament. The amateur players in each category with the highest cumulative run totals will win cash prizes. More detailed rules can be found at the event.
Help us to help Fury put on one of the best events they can, and give yourself a chance to win big on an exclusive limited edition collectable pool cue by entering today!
