 | | ![]() Sierra "Cheyenne" Custom Pool Cue Hands-down, the Cheyenne pool cue by Sierra Custom Cues is one of the most beautiful cues you will ever hold. The custom cuemakers at Sierra have always stressed materials and workmanship over flashiness. Here, you see a great balance in attractive wood tones, using accent features to bring out the beauty of the wood itself. The forearm is a lightly cinnamon-stained birdseye maple. It is spliced with three tall and thin ebony points, alternating with three shorter thin points. The wraps, double-pressed and polished Irish linen, black with white specks, are set off with silver rings. The butt sleeve, one of the best looking parts of this cue, is done in two parts. The top 4/5 of it is a piece of cinnamon-stained curly maple. The grain of this wood is simply incredible! It is separated from the lower 1/5 with silver and black rings. The bottom part of the butt sleeve is natural birdseye maple. The lightness of this wood, set between the cinnamon and the black of the butt plate, draws your eye into the cue. Dashed rings of maple and ebony ease the transition from the butt sleeve to the butt plate. The stainless steel joint, with 5/16 x 14 joint pin, is bracketed by Sierraís signature dashed rings. These three-layer rings are black on the outside (one thin, one thick), sandwiching a thin ring layer consisting of sixteen maple dashes alternating with sixteen ebony squares. The maple shaft is crowned with a 13mm fibre linen ferrule with a Le Pro tip. If you are after a low-production custom pool cue of great quality, showcasing the beauty of woods with an elegant design, you should consider Cheyenne. Joint protectors are included.
