Here is what Mr. Scholz had to say about his purchase, and what he plans on doing with his winnings:

I first started playing pool at college in 1935. I played almost daily then but after leaving school, tables were not available to me too often. But I always did retain an interest in the game and have played whenever or wherever I could.

I recently moved to a retirement community and although there are tables in each of the four units, in my unit, the set of balls had one missing. The new set you provided is now available to all the residents!

The $1000. will undoubtedly go for travel - where, I do not know yet but I'll make up my mind soon.
