 Tempest LC Series Pool Cue Model LC-2
The composition and design of the Tempest LC-2 cue was influenced by an acclaimed Italian cuemaker. Starting with a gray-stained birdseye maple base, the forearm displays inlays of four ebony-lined, blue pearlescent triangles leading to synthetic ivory kites. There are four complementary ivory-like ovals, also surrounded by ebony, mounted and inlaid between each floating point. Making the design of the forearm independent of the wrap, you will find a "breathing space" created using an array of rings. Layered together, these rings create a harmonious space of warm Persimmon maple, metallic blue, and varied widths of black strips. The wrap is black pressed and waxed Irish linen creating a smooth, leathery feel. The butt sleeve is composed of the same Persimmon maple and features ebony-lined, blue pearlescent hourglass shapes separated by imitation ivory ovals surrounded in the same ebony-lined inlays. A simple, black butt cap completes the stylish design of this pool stick. A polished, stainless steel joint connects this two-piece cue, using a 5/16 x 14 joint pin. Only a specially selected grade of hard rock Canadian maple is used to construct the shaft of this cue. This process, combined with the pro taper, is done to ensure the most solid hit and true balance available. At the apex of this well-crafted pool cue shaft, you will find a fiber linen ferrule topped off with a 13mm Le Pro tip. All Tempest pool sticks come with joint protectors.
