This pool cue is emblazoned with natural wood tones and uses accents of turquoise to embody the spirit of the southwest. The forearm of the Navajo is ginger-stained birdseye maple with four spliced points of rosewood inlaid with veneers of maple, turquoise-stained maple, and ebony. The effect is eye-catching and demands the attention and respect of all players. The butt sleeve of the cue contains many meticulously placed inlays. Four rectangular maple windows have smaller rectangles, made from tiny alternating inlays of maple and rosewood (32 squares per window!), framing them. Rectangles of rosewood make each of the four windows independent.You will see there are thin rings of alternating rosewood dashes and turquoise-stained maple squares (32 inlays per ring). On the outside of these two rings is another thick rosewood ring. And finishing off the cue is an ivory-colored butt cap. The stainless steel joint, with 5/16 x 14 joint pin, is bracketed by Sierra's signature dashed rings. These three-layer rings are black on the outside (one thin, one thick), sandwiching a thin ring layer formed of 16 maple dashes acting in sequence with 16 ebony squares. Crowning the maple shaft is a 13mm Le Pro tip atop a fibre linen ferrule and joint protectors are included with every cue. Sierra has used the subtle tint of turquoise to wonderfully complement the dark rosewood, making for a truly beautiful cue.
