Women Take Center Stage at Music City

Music City is concentrating Saturday's matches on the women's tournament.

The men will be playing later this evening around 8:30 PM. In afternoon action, Helena Thornfeldt defeated Belinda Campos 7-2.

Defending champion Monica Webb bested Neslie O'Hare 7-5. BCA Women's Masters Champion Pamela Bell defeated Christy Simpson 7-2.

Toni Varner, wife of Nick, won her match against Cindy Hall 7-2.

The winner's matches for this evening will be Helena Thornfeldt versus Pamela Bell and Monica Webb versus Toni Varner.

Notable one-loss side matches include Belinda Campos versus Nicole Mancini and Morgan Steinman versus Neslie O'Hare.

The scotch doubles event has whittled down to four remaining teams.

Tournament director Scott Smith and partner Toni Tucker will play Rafael Martinez and Christy Simpson in one bracket, while Monica Webb and Barry Emerson will go up against Shawn Putnam and Donna Favors.

Midnight Madness will begin tonight at the witching hour.

This is an eight-man winner-take-all tournament with a $500 entry fee.
