BATTERY INFORMATION The CueSight comes with three LR44 type batteries. These are 1.5 volt alkaline batteries. Replacements are readily available from drug stores, groceries, hardware stores, and other outlets. Note that in all likelihood you will need to consult the store's cross reference chart to select a particular manfacturer's part number, as an "LR44" is an IEC standard type, and not a model number of any particular manufacturer. Do not use zinc air or silver oxide batteries, as they do not provide enough capacity to power the unit. When in doubt, if the battery is the same size and shape, and is 1.5 volt alkaline, it will probably work. Under normal circumstances, your batteries should last many hours of play. It is recommended that you turn the unit off between shots to conserve the batteries. TIP CARE AND REPLACEMENT The leather tip on your CueSight is shipped "unscuffed". You may use a tip scuffer if you wish. Over time, chalk may accumulate in the laser aperture. This can be removed by blowing it out. If the tip needs to be replaced, it is easily unscrewed.
